Mexico City, 1977: she composes poems and other prose writings while conducting research on poetics and nature. She holds a Master's degree in Latin American Literature from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She is also a certified designer and instructor of in-person and online courses and workshops.

PROCESO CREATIVO

La intuición y la conexión con el cuerpo son fundamentales en mi proceso de escritura. Por lo que he desarrollado una metodología de trabajo en la que medito, leo y busco la conexión con otras disciplinas y escrituras, como el canto, el baile o el performance.

CREATIVE Process

Intuition and connection with the body are fundamental in my writing process. That is why I have developed a working methodology in which I meditate, read, and looking for connections with other disciplines and writings, such as singing, dancing, or performance.

En El sueño de toda célula (2018), Maricela Guerrero se interna en el territorio íntimo pero a la vez colectivo de la imaginación compasiva. Se trata de un libro de poesía que, a la manera de un manual de alquimia o una enciclopedia de herbolaria, cuestiona la noción tradicional de cultura y propone le construcción de una comunidad más cercana al mundo natural.

In The Dream of Every Cell, Maricela Guerrero delves into the intimate yet collective territory of compassionate imagination. It is a poetry book that, akin to an alchemy manual or an herbal encyclopedia, questions the traditional notion of culture and proposes the construction of a community closer to the natural world.
